At Mudeford Football Club, the safety and well-being of our players is our top priority. That’s why all of our football coaches undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before they start working with us. The DBS check is an important safeguarding measure that helps to ensure that our coaches do not have a history of criminal activity that could potentially put our players at risk. We believe that it is essential to create a safe and welcoming environment for all our players, and the DBS check is just one of the ways that we do this. Our coaches are highly trained and experienced, and they are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. With our DBS-checked coaches, you can be confident that your child is in safe hands at our football club.

We Care About Welfare

We take the welfare and protection of children very seriously at our football club. That’s why we have a dedicated Child Welfare Officer who oversees all aspects of safeguarding within our organization. Our Child Welfare Officer is responsible for ensuring that our club is a safe and inclusive environment for all our players, and they work closely with our coaches and volunteers to implement and maintain our safeguarding policies and procedures. They are also the first point of contact for any concerns or disclosures related to safeguarding, and they work closely with external agencies to ensure that all issues are dealt with appropriately and sensitively. At our football club, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all our players, and our Child Welfare Officer plays a vital role in helping us achieve this goal.
